The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) is dedicated to helping exceptional veterinary students achieve their goals in veterinary medicine. At the AVMF we are proud to support students through our scholarship programs. The AVMF is reaching out to you today to inform you about our 2013 scholarship opportunities. Each year the AVMF awards a number of scholarships to outstanding veterinary students. This year our special awards will include:      * A $2500 Winn Feline Foundation Scholarship which will be awarded to a 3rd or 4th year veterinary student who demonstrates a keen interest in cats.      * A $500 Dr. Elinor McGrath Scholarship, named in honor of the profession's first female veterinarian      * Aquatic Scholarships for students interested in pursuing a career in aquatic medicine or for students who are still undecided about their career focus and would like the opportunity to learn more about aquatic veterinary medicine. Veterinarians are highly respected by the public for the role they play in keeping animals healthy and enhancing their quality of life. AVMF is proud to invest in the quality of the education and training of future veterinarians.
