Welcome Back Party at Black Sand Beach
and
After Party at De Big Fish!
Please join us for a cookout first on campus and then an after party with a Vetti-Gras theme (a play on Mardi-Gras...get it?). We will have beads given out 1st come, 1st serve with admission to De Big Fish.
Please remember to be professional, while this is a party, we are not advocating any traditional Mardi-Gras bead activities....enough said :)
Wear your purple, green, and gold (if you want) - and let's have a party!
The Welcome Back Party
Who: Everyone!
What: A cookout with burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, desserts, and drinks for sale by our sponsoring clubs.
When: Friday, August 23rd at 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Where: Black Sand Beach on the True Blue campus
The After Party - "Vetti-Gras" theme!!!
Who: All Vet and Med students welcome
What: A party to let loose after the first week of class with drink specials and more!!
When: Friday, August 23rd starting at 10pm through 2am (busses start at 10pm from the SGU bus stop)
Where: De Big Fish (we will have busses running or you can walk just past Bananas, it is on your right if coming from campus)
Please note that there is no admission fee for the Black Sand Beach Welcome Back Party but there is a $10EC entrance fee at De Big Fish but all proceeds will go to AAARF. The island animals thank you for your contribution :)
A bit about our beneficiary:
The mission of Angels in Armor Animal Rescue Fund (AAARF) is to provide financial relief to those member students or faculty members of the who opt to rescue un-owned sick or injured companion animals in need of emergency or critical care. AAARF encourages Good Samaritan behavior in our community to save the lives of animals that would otherwise be euthanized and provide educational opportunities for SVM students in the clinic and the classroom.
